DocMod
Another Doctor Who Mod
DocMod Rewrited
Build your TARDIS. Pick your interior. Fly it anywhere. Regenerate when it goes wrong.
DocMod Rewrited is a full rebuild of DocMod for modern Minecraft — a Doctor Who mod centred on a TARDIS that is genuinely bigger on the inside, with its own dimension, its own moods, and an interior you can rebuild block by block.
The TARDIS
Every TARDIS gets its own dimension. Step through the doors and you are somewhere else entirely — not a room stitched into the overworld.
Fly it. Set coordinates from the monitor, pull the demat lever, and travel. Store destinations on waypoint data cartridges and swap them between crews. Lost? The fast return lever brings you back to where you last landed.
Fit it out. The console room runs on real components you have to find, craft and maintain:
| Component | What it does |
|---|---|
| TARDIS Engine | Powers the ship, holds the circuits |
| Dematerialisation Circuit | Required for flight — wears out with use |
| Chameleon Circuit | Governs the exterior shell |
| Stabiliser Circuit | Keeps the flight steady |
| Power Coupler | Routes power through the console |
| Eye of Harmony Coupler | Taps the ship's core |
Choose how it looks. Ships come with several console rooms — the Hartnell (1st), Coral (9th/10th), Copper (11th), Toyota (12th) and the DocMod default — plus eight exterior shells including the 1963 police box, the TT capsule, the Toyota, the coral, the crystalline and the DocCon 2023 shell. Nine authentic console room hums run underneath it all, from Hartnell 1963 through War and Toyota.
Rebuild it. The Architectural Reconfigurator swaps the whole interior for another. The ARS Egg dispenses roundels, rotors and console parts on demand, paid for out of your Artron reserves.
She has opinions. Every TARDIS rolls a personality from nine traits — Calm, Adventurous, Happy, Loyal, Protective, Curious, and the rare Angry, Homebound and Easily Scared. A Loyal ship watches out for her pilot. An Angry one is less accommodating.
Round it out with door panels, data panels, shield panels, flight panels, night/day lighting, Handles, the player locator, the Toyota screen and the Toyota spinny.
Regeneration
Take a fatal hit and you do not simply die — you regenerate, with a new appearance that persists and syncs to everyone on the server. Fob watches hold a Time Lord's essence in hiding. The Elixir of Life from Karn is the last resort. River's diary keeps track of who met whom, and when.
Worlds
Four dimensions, each with its own reason to visit:
- Space — vacuum physics and oxygen management. Bring a space suit; the helmet tracks your remaining air.
- The Moon — low light, a custom starfield, shooting stars and the Earth hanging overhead.
- Gallifrey — orange skies, Gallifreyan trees, Halfinum and Eye of Harmony crystal ore.
- Skaro — the Dalek homeworld, albizia forests and all.
Enemies and allies
Daleks in four variants — Classic, Renegade, Remembrance and Special Weapons. Cybermen, Weeping Angels that only move when nobody is watching, and Time Lords including the President himself. K9 is on your side.
Arm yourself with the Dalek gun, the Cyberman gun or a sonic screwdriver — four models, including the Thirteenth's, the Tenth's, the Garatim and the Robainks — recharged at a sonic charger.
Gear
Zinc, Steel and Halfinum tools and armour. Space suits with oxygen tracking. Sonic glass. Dalek, Classic Dalek and TARDIS wings for gliding. Zinc, Steel, Halfinum, Sonic Crystal and Crystalline ores to mine across the dimensions.
For pack makers
DocMod is datapack-extensible. You can ship your own TARDIS interiors and your own ARS catalogue without writing a line of Java:
tardis_interior— register a new console room from a structure NBT, with its own name, preview image, Artron cost, hum, exterior and theme.ars— decide exactly which blocks and items the ARS Egg offers and what each one costs.
Full documentation, field reference and a worked example: Datapack Guide.

| Minecraft | 26.2 |

Modpacks
You are welcome to include DocMod Rewrited in a public or private modpack. Credit the team and link back to this page. Please do not reupload the jar on its own.
Network and privacy notice
Some screens in this mod connect to the internet. Specifically:
- DocTeam API — cape textures, team information and community server status (who is online, how many slots).
- Mojang session API — player skin textures and names, used to render the custom skin and regeneration system.
- Datapack interiors — if a datapack declares an
interiorImageas anhttp(s)URL, the client downloads that image to display the interior preview.
No personal data is collected or stored beyond what is needed to render those screens. If you would rather not have any of it, the affected screens are cosmetic and can be avoided.
Status
DocMod Rewrited is in active development. Some features are still being built and may be missing or incomplete in a given build. Creative mode is recommended while the mod is in beta — survival works, but expect rough edges.
